I am the Interactive Media and Marketing Senior Manager for Girl Scouts of Nassau County where I create content while maintaining the integrity of the Girl Scout brand voice. In addition, I coordinate the implementation of social media content, web content, e-newsletters, PSAs and other internal and external communications.
I not only work for Girl Scouts; I have been in Girl Scouts for over 20 years and continue to volunteer in the Freeport Association. Over the years, I have earned various awards including the Girl Scouts of the USA Appreciation Pin, the Girl Scout Silver Award, and the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award.
I am a graduate of Quinnipiac University’s Lenders School of Business and received a BS in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration. Outside of Girl Scouts, I am a board member of Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI) and a member of Social Media Association (SMA). I am involved in my local German-American Club and I lend my writing skills to my local fire department. I enjoy being active, traveling, and drinking coffee. Even though I am a recently “retired” coach for the Freeport Recreation Center Swim Team (a position I held for 10 years), I am still an active Water Safety Instructor (WSI).
