My professional journey began in August 2003 when I decided that I wanted to be in business for myself yet still be home with my 3 daughters. What was I to do? Well, I used my creative talents to launch my own customized gift basket business helping corporate businesses thank their clients and referral sources.
After about a year, I learned about the wonderful world of "Imprinted Promotional Products". That was it! I was hooked - using customized branded products offered so many other ways to be creative and expand past gift baskets to reinforce my clients’ brands.
I quickly realized that I didn't want to just sell promotional products with a catalogue and order form, instead I wanted to partner with my clients to show them how to best use promotional offerings to meet their goals & objectives. I began meeting with my clients and "interviewing them" to gain insight as to:
1) where their trouble spots were
2) who their target audience was
3) what they wanted to accomplish with the campaign
4) what they liked and didn't like in previous campaigns they had launched
5) how they wanted to present their company to their target audience
Now, with a full understanding of these needs, I have a unique perspective about them and their customers and can create memorable, targeted campaigns for them.
My intense desire to partner with clients to achieve success is a quality that sets my company apart from others in the promotional products arena. My ability to research and develop the campaign and bring in components to achieve a desired end result is what makes me excited to come to work each day and what makes the client part of my ‘extended family’ - a true Family Affair.
